It feeds on a wide range of fruits, vegetables, ornamental trees and shrubs, damaging leaves and fruit. Unlike other stink bugs, Brown Marmorated Stink Bugs overwinter in protected places, such as inside people's homes. Although they do not bite, feed or lay eggs indoors, they emit a noxious odor when disturbed.
