Comes with one mosquito trap and one lure. The trap is reusable, non-toxic and safe for the environment. To re-use the mosquito trap, simply empty it out and use a fresh lure.

Mosquitoes are known to transmit diseases such as Equine Encephalitis, West Nile Virus and others. When mosquitoes bite an animal or bird infected with a disease, they go to lay eggs and come back to bite again. It is this second bite that transmits diseases. The SpringStar Mosquito Trap attracts, catches and kills mosquitoes when they try to lay eggs, thus preventing that second "fatal" bite.

SpringStar's Mosquito Trap uses a mosquito egg pheromone which mosquitoes use to mark special egg-laying places. This "locator" biochemical draws mosquitoes into the mosquito trap, but they cannot find the exit and will eventually tire and drown in the liquid. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Since SpringStar's Mosquito Trap is reusable, it provides an easy low cost solution for mosquito control. Additional lures are for sale here. The traps can be baited and let to sit for weeks to attract mosquitoes in. Replace lures after 5 or 6 weeks, the new lures are fully effective after a week.
